Pyramid Fitness uses science and data based practices to help clients achieve their goals. We start from the ground up: beginning with detailed questionnaires and fitness assessments to build a solid foundation.
Eric Claycomb (BS, ACSM CPT, FMS, Pn1, KB) - Eric has worked in the field of Health and Fitness for over a decade since completing his Exercise Science degree at Slippery Rock University in 2010. Prior to the founding of Pyramid Fitness, Eric has held a plethora of positions in personal training, personal training education, and personal training management, including a 7 year period for elite gym corporation Equinox as a Tier IV Coach, Master Instructor, and Fitness Manager. Eric holds certifications from The American College of Sports Medicine, Functional Movement Systems, Precision Nutrition, and Kettlebell Athletics. Eric's education and experience serve as the foundation for his movement-based training philosophy, which ensures his client's are assessed, programmed for, and trained based on their individual movement deficits, thus providing the utmost in safety and effectiveness.
The starter package is recommended for all new participants. You will undergo a full assessment process including; health history, functional movement screen, strength and cardio function, nutrition and body composition.
Day 1 takes an hour and you will complete all of the assessments.
Day 2 we will go over your results, discuss your nutrition, and set your goals. Then you will have a 1 hour training session based on al the data collected.
I offer 1 on 1 personal training. Before a new client starts, they will go through an in-depth assessment process including a Functional Movement Screen, health risk screen, and nutritional and physical assessments.
Every Tuesday and Thursday @9:30am we have a small group exercise class. I limit the class to 10 people. The class is 50 minutes long and consists of strength training coupled with cardio training to get you the best results.
At Pyramid Fitness, I am certified through Precision Nutrition to get the best results. By using an in-depth questionnaire to hone in your dietary habits and make the needed adjustments to achieve your health and fitness goals.
